- Enhanced Viewing Experiences (Disc 1-5, HD): Each episode of True Blood's third season features an enhanced Picture-in-Picture viewing Experience. When engaged, viewers are treated to exclusive flashback and flash-forward minisodes and bonus scenes; in-character insights from Jessica, Andy, Tommy and Alcide; and a string of bios, trivia, histories and clues to the mysteries of True Blood. Conveniently, users can skip the pop-up text items and hop through all of the available flashbacks, flash-forwards and in-character interviews simply by pressing the ">" and "<" arrow keys on their remotes. The only downside? Accessible production featurettes and behind-the-scenes videos would have been much more welcome, and the EV experiences ultimately seem light on content in the grand supplemental scheme of things.
- Audio Commentaries (Discs 1-5): Six audio commentaries are available, and paint a rather all-encompassing overview of the season and its production. The actors are always paired with the series' episode-makers and the discussions are more focused, detail-oriented and informative for it. Commentaries include "Beautiful Broken" with actor Alexander Skarsgård (Eric) and director Scott Winant, "It Hurts Me Too" with writer Alexander Woo and director Michael Lehmann, "9 Crimes" with actress Kristin Bauer Van Straten (Pam) and director David Petrarca, "I Got a Right to Sing the Blues" with creator Alan Ball and actor Denis O'Hare (Russell), "Hitting the Ground" with actors Anna Paquin (Sookie) and Joe Manganiello (Alcide) and writer Brian Buckner, and "Evil is Going On" with actor Stephen Moyer (Bill) and director Anthony Hemingway.
- Post Mortems (Discs 1-5, HD, 22 minutes): Every episode is also paired with a Post Mortem short. A collection of production featurette, extended promos and in-universe content, the Post Mortems originally aired on HBO after the broadcast of each corresponding episode. Highlights include a mini-mockumentary about hell hounds deployed by Hitler during World War II, a dissection of Alcide with actor Joe Manganiello, faux-footage from a vampire interrogation, a preview for an episode of a fake Disaster Network television series ("Digging for the Dirt") in which an enthusiastic host unearths the bones of Eric's ancestors, a journalist's interview with Vampire Rights Activist Anne Flannigan and US Representative David Finch, a look at Lorena's undying love, "A Vampire's Guide to Surviving a Werewolf Attack," a breaking-news report about Jerry McCafferty's murder, a segment of "Praise His Light" with Reverend Steve Newlin, a behind-the-scenes investigation into Sookie's origin and her true nature, and a special post-finale "Thank You" from Alan Ball in which he teases the creatures, storylines and loose ends he's itching to deal with in Season Four.
- Character Perspectives (Disc 5, HD, 153 minutes): Don't feel like sitting through every Enhanced Viewing Experience to watch all of the set's in-character insights? In a tiny Picture-in-Picture window? You can view Jessica, Andy, Tommy and Alcide's interviews in their entirety. At two-and-half-hours, it's too much for one sitting, but diehard fans will eat it up, cheesy rants and all.
- Anatomy of a Scene: Episode 2 (Disc 1, HD, 11 minutes): Join Ball and key members of his cast and crew as they develop, design and shoot a scene involving a werewolf attack early in the third season.
- True Blood Lines (Disc 5, HD): An interactive guide to the various creatures, humans and fanged power-players in True Blood and their connection to one another.
- Previews and Recaps (Discs 1-5, HD): View the "Next On" and "Previously On" previews and recaps that aired during the third season's broadcast run.
- Music Video (Disc 5, HD, 3 minutes): "Oh Sookie," courtesy of Snoop Dog.
