The Blu-ray edition of Green Lantern: Emerald Knights has a generous selection of special features, among them an excellent audio commentary, two worthwhile Green Lantern documentaries, a sneak peek at Batman: Year One and an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold presented in high definition. A standard DVD and Digital Copy are included as well.

• Audio Commentary: DC Entertainment CCO, comicbook writer and Emerald Knights co-screenwriter Geoff Johns and DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio deliver a friendly, breezy, lively dissection of Green Lantern and the character's history, the new DCU animated film, the various supporting characters featured in its flashback vignettes, and more. Johns and DiDio aren't privy to every aspect of the production -- or at least aren't equipped to speak at length about every aspect -- but I found the two to be a perfectly engaging pair of commentators and I thoroughly enjoyed their entertaining chat from beginning to end.
• Only the Bravest: Tales of the Green Lantern Corps (HD, 32 minutes): DiDio, Johns, Emerald Knights writers Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, UCLA professor of psychology Dr. Benjamin Karney and others examine the nature of bravery, selflessness, sacrifice, cowardice and fear, as well as the ways in which each one is central to the Green Lantern mythos and Hal Jordan as a hero.
• Why Green Lantern Matters: The Talent of Geoff Johns (HD, 18 minutes): An analysis of Johns' reboot of the ongoing Green Lantern comicbook series and the various changes he made to its characters, Corps, scope and themes.
• From Comicbook to Screen (HD, 7 minutes): See how Abin Sur and Laira Omoto leaped from the page to the screen in Emerald Knights.
• Bruce Timm's Picks (HD, 26 minutes): Timm has included a three-minute excerpt from The Siege of Starro! Part 1 from Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and a full-length presentation of Revenge of the Reach from Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
